Re: Problem with playback speed control in Audacity 2.0.5
I'm running Audacity 2.0.5, EXE installer, Windows XP, and JAWS 14.0. I'm not sure if this is a JAWS problem, a bug in Audacity, or something I'm doing wrong. The playback speed control does not work like it should. If I'm playing audio, and I change the speed using the arrow keys, the control chan...

Re: Left and Right Channels are identical
I tried again this afternoon and had a different result. There was a difference between the 2 channels some of the time and the size of the waves forms was different. There is another problem - there is a buzz/hum throughout the recording. Do you think this is a situation where "earthing"...

Re: AU Files Not Recognized by Repair Tools But Open in Auda
Running the ARU on a large number of files, it creates a large WAV but this is not recognised as a WAV file Obviously you are not fully following http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Crash_Recovery#Automatic_recovery_tools . You should not use the 1.2 Recovery Utility on more than about 800...

Re: AU Files Not Recognized by Repair Tools But Open in Auda
Why did it freeze? Did you run out of power? If Windows is freezing you need to find out why. It has not frozen much recently. There are several suspects: - PerfectDisk which runs as a service - but it seems to have played well with the current configuration. I would caution against running invasiv...

Re: First 5 seconds of Export buzzing
My latest tests with the file I provided, in both Audacity 2.0.2 and 2.0.5, is that the static can be heard the first time I play back the file, but not on subsequent playbacks (unless I close and reopen the file). Thanks for testing. On my Mac mini, in 2.0.5 or 2.0.6-alpha, the playback is noticea...

Re: Can't Record Using Serato DJ & Pioneer DDJ-SX Controller
I've come to the conclusion that the best way to resolve the issue is to do as Koz suggests and buy one of the Zoom units to record my sets. You mean plug the booth output into Zoom, or record the sets acoustically at your sessions? From other posts there seem question marks if Serato sends the ent...

Re: URGENT | AUP file completely missing, still have data fo
I'm glad you got your recording back. And of course just after posting that I get the recovery tool to work because sr001.au was not short enough, it had to be s001.au. Nowhere do the instructions say to to use two letters as the numerical prefix. They suggest using letter "e". It can't be...

Re: Antares Autotune VST plugin trouble
The Antares website says Auto-Tune is incompatible with Audacity. Thanks, Doug. I don't know, but others have reported that the AuoTune EFX plug-in does appear in Audacity. Undoubtedly AutoTune is not fully compatible with Audacity. MIDI input is needed in AutoTune and similar plug-ins for fine cor...

Re: URGENT | AUP file completely missing, still have data fo
If any kind soul out there with more experience than me would like to give it a shot, they're more than welcome. There should be 3 audio recordings in total that combined are about 37 minutes. Stereo, 44100Hz, 32-bit float. I am downloading your zip file. It will be at least another 10 minutes befo...
