Re: starting audacity on multiple files?
I would like to start Audacity and give it a list of audio files. Currently, it ignores every file after the first. [...]I thought I could just download them and start audacity with their names on the command line, but that does not work if I want to deal with more than one file. To be clear for ot...

Re: Adjusting Player Speed
If you know by what length the recording is too long you can look at http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ch ... ml#percent to calculate the percentage correction needed.

Re: Audacity won't open aup. file
It's File > Find. Not Edit > Find. File > Find just opens the same Spotlight search in Finder, as far as I can tell. I would click it to select it then look at the path trail at the bottom of the Finder window That's a new one. Nothing happens in my finder by just selecting an item on the desktop e...

Re: Chain command exporting to Mono?!
I definitely feel that selecting the output format should be a feature of Audacity's Chain command and look forward to seeing this in the future. If you are still referring to your issue, stereo or mono mixdown is already determined by the channel mapping of the tracks, but the mapping is not under...

M4A and MP4 extensions are accepted by the Forum, if the file is not over 1 MB.DigiVinyl wrote:I tried to attach the AAC files, but it wouldn't take the m4a extension.

Re: Skipping in Mavericks
The one thing discussed here that I have not done yet is reload Mavericks. That is for another day. I'm not sure I know how to load it over the top of itself, but I'll give it a try. If you already have 10.9.2, see http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13871 . If you don't have 10.9.2, you should update to...

Re: Audacity won't open aup. file
To figure out where a found file or folder is, I would click it to select it then look at the path trail at the bottom of the Finder window, or right-click over the found item > Get Info and look at "Where". There are regular Find systems in place, too. Edit > Find, etc. There is no Edit >...
Re: Windows 8
EZCAP 218B When I install the product I do not get the same options on the preference list under Audio I/O. What should they be set at? If you using a version of Audacity that has "Audio I/O" Preferences, that version is obsolete. Please update to the latest Audacity 2.0.5 version here: h...

Good.
It is best to start a new topic for unrelated questions. I moved your feature request about "support for two line ins" to http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 20&t=78300 .

Re: Can't configure FFmeg
When I point to the directory FFmpeg that contains the files. Select and open etc... It says above the Locate button: FFmpeg Library Version: FFmpeg library not found. You don't select and open "etc..." you select and open explicitly "avformat-52.dll"". If that doesn't work...
