Is there a solution out there, even with an external audio interface device, that would enable USB plug in for separate track recordi...

Re: local manual link not working
We can't see your computer to explain why. Try the links from the Help Menu. What happens exactly?
What happens if you double-click on index.html in C:Program FilesAudacityhelpmanual? Is your web browser configured to open HTML files?

Re: iPod playback problems
Please see the pink panel at the top of this page. Make sure at Audacity > About Audacity that you have at least Audacity 2.0.4, preferably 2.0.5. Those versions fix a problem where older iPods refused or did not properly play some AIFF files exported by Audacity. That said, if compressed formats li...

Re: "MP3 export library not found"
Also you can if preferred point the Audacity command-line exporter to arbitrary versions of a "Lame" file (that is, an executable, not a dynamic library). Please see http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ex ... ogram.html .

Re: How to record using two (2) Rode USB Podcaster mics
We had been using Audacity with a Blue Snowball mic for podcasting but we just upgraded our equipment to a pair of Rode PSA1 USB Podcaster mics for our two hosts. Only problem - we purchased the gear before realizing Audacity can't accept more than 1 USB mic. Does anyone have any suggestions on how...

Re: inconsistencies with mp3s between 32 and 64 bit Win 7 Ul
I've been using Audacity 2.0.3.0 with Lame for Audacity (installed on 31 Jan 2012--not sure of the version here) on a 32 bit Windows 7 Ult . machine. I've been happily encoding my MP3s at 32kbps with no audible problems. Now...I wish to use my new 64 bit system with Win 7 Ultimate. I installed Auda...

Re: Audio disappearing as Audacity records
We have a casual sys admin, I'm just the day tech. Users can log on to many machines, but It's one machine they mainly do their recording on. This problem has happened on another machine though. OK, when I suggest to set the temp folders of the machines to a folder that everyone has access to, obvi...

Re: Searching through a file for target sound profiles.
Audacity 2.0.5 Hello, is there a way, or plug-in, that I could search through a file for (in part or whole) a target sound profile and then get the length of the profile's presence? Specifically this is for scanning through call center files for hold times greater than 5 min (by way of looking for ...
