Re: I cannot find my Audacity file?
I am on Windows 7 64 bit. Aud version 2.05 Just to be clear, the latest Audacity version is 2.0.5 which can be obtained from http://audacityteam.org/download/ . I recorded 3 files this morning, on two computers, both on above OS and Audacity cannot locate them. I went into Start into the Audacity i...

Re: Error not well-formed (invalid token) at line 63402
You have a very specific error different to the user whose topic you posted to, so I started a new topic for you. I am receiving this error: Error not well-formed (invalid token) at line 63402. Audacity crashed while I was in the middle of recording. It tends to crash when I happen to be in Audacity...

Re: Salvaging GoPro Voice Recording
There are five "DOWNLOAD" selections on that page. Which one should I use? I'm not interested in installing any software or becoming a subscriber. You should warn people whenever you use a service like this. Koz Apologies, I didn't double-check what it'd look like when you open the link, ...

Re: audio format for playing audio cd
Are you suggesting someone on this Forum is giving you incorrect advice? are you saying that if I burn the WAV files to a CD on the audio setting, the music should play on a regular CD player? If you burn as a "music CD" or an "audio CD" then the CD should play on a regular CD pl...

Quite so.steve wrote:Mode 2: New speed as a percentage
This is different and hopefully easier than the "% change" used in the built in effect.

Re: How to make surround sound?
Assuming this is from media that is currently only stereo, try: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=78369 . One important point not mentioned there is that to export multi-channel files from Audacity you need to enable "Use custom mix" in the Import / Export Preferences....

Re: audio format for playing audio cd
An audio CD is an audio CD. An audio CD player plays audio CD's, not WAV or anything else, even though the format of the CD stream is similar to WAV. Burn WAV files to the audio CD, not MP3. If you have a flash drive, look at its manual for supported formats. Use CD-Text if you want to see the song ...

Re: Recording Only From the Sound Card
At the moment when I record audacity takes the sound from both my sound card and my built in mic. I have tried turning down the mic volume, but then it turns the sound card volume down too. This is probably a stupid question, but as I said in my other post I am new to MACs. If you want to record wh...
