Re: Audacity plante:import de fichier FLAC trop lourd?
Thanks. As far as I can tell from a search, Ocenaudio uses FFmpeg but it may not use FFmpeg to open OGG files containing FLAC. And it may use a later version of FFmpeg than Audacity does. In my copy of VLC 2.0.6, if I enter a stream address, I can specify "Audio - FLAC" as the Convert/Save...

Re: Audacity won't open Project file
Thank you. It is always best to give the complete error, to avoid any possible confusion. Unfortunately the AUP file is corrupt. It is just thousands of zero values and there is no way to make it usable. Did you save the project to some temporary location where another application might interfere wi...

Re: usb pnp audio

Re: Importing issue
Okay, I'll use three Alan Parsons songs as an example, including my tag info for each one. Let's say I import these songs into one window: File Name: 01 To One in Paradise Title: To One in Paradise Genre: To One in Paradise File Name: 02 Sirius Title: Sirius Genre: Sirius File Name: 03 Eye in the S...

Re: Please help get rid of this bizarre buzzing during playb
Do any of the tracks not start at time zero (there is empty space before the song starts)? If so, try pressing HOME on the keyboard then drag select a little way from time zero and Generate > Silence. You could also try Audacity > Preferences: Recording and try different "Audio to buffer" ...

Re: Drivers or lack there of...
"One of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it" I'm assuming that you are using a standard USB audio compliant device like the original poster. You'll need to try the device in another computer. If the same thing happens then the dev...

Re: excessive recording volume (USB input from ION turntable
Did you have Windows 7 when you had Audacity Beta? People often find USB inputs are "hotter" on Windows 7 than Windows XP. I would be a little surprised if the Audacity version made this difference, unless the difference is that the Audacity input volume slider in that version wasn't contr...

Re: Audacity won't open Project file
Im having the exact same problem, on Audacity 2.0.5, Win7 Professional... I was working on a live recording for a shortfilm, and instead of exporting it at the moment as audio files, i saved normally the project. Now I tried to open it up again for post-production but it doesnt open. Is it really e...

Re: Orphan block file' error
Did Audacity or the computer crash, or did the computer lose power? For whatever reason, the AUP file contains no reference to any AU files - it is just an empty project with no tracks. So I would assume the AU files that Audacity sees as "orphans" are the recording that you need - they ar...

Re: Audacity plante:import de fichier FLAC trop lourd?
I followed your advice, namely: -changed the file extension in flac. Audacity 2.0.5 starts to open but crashes before the end like .ogg extension. I did not suggest changing the file extension. That does not change the format of the file from OGG to FLAC. I suggested encoding the file as FLAC. That...
