Re: cdda frames correction
If you have a continuous performance that must play continuously as the CD moves from one track to the next, the CD drive you are burning with must support Disc-at-once (DAO) as a first prerequisite. See Gapless burning . If the CD burner pads silence to end at a frame then the result won't be ident...

Re: 24 bit Wavs changing to 16 bit during batch export
Not really a big issue and anyway it far outweighs having to manually edit 1000+ wavs! If you want to "vote" that Chains support "Other uncompressed files" we can record your vote (anonymously). To some extent we take number of votes into account when considering new and improve...

Re: cdda frames correction
isnt there a more elegant way to quickly make the already splitted waves cdda frame conform? In case you need to do this and you needed more information, Doug meant that you have to click the dropdown arrow to right of the digits in Selection Toolbar , and choose "CDDA Frames (75 fps)". T...

Re: timeline
I thought it might be possible to handle it just as a display feature in the XML. Of course it has got to be undo and redoable with the insertions and deletions. Do I understand your proposal correctly: For example, if you have a 10 second recording that started at 12:00 mid day, the (new) timeline...

Re: Converting multiple Audacity files to WAV
Hi Gale, yes i mean multiple AUP files... so there is not a way to set up a chain to convert from AUP to WAV like the MP3 conversion chain? As I said, there isn't. Audacity Projects aren't meant as long term storage. When you're sure the project is finished, it's best to export then as WAV, and del...

Re: Isochronic Modulator Plug-in
Ionhowell, can you share your fix for getting the Isomod plugin working with the more recent versions of Audacity? I'm placing the file in the plug-ins folder but it is not showing up when I in to the menus to add the effect. lonhowell25 is not Forum staff and is unlikely to be reading now. What ve...

Re: Online version of Audacity
There was an online HTML5 editor under development called "plucked.de" which I understand reused some Audacity code. It's been offline for a long time now: https://github.com/plucked/html5-audio-editor. I am not sure where its licence file is.

Re: Converting multiple Audacity files to WAV
If you mean multiple AUP files, no. That would require extending Chains to accept AUP files, if I understand what you are asking about.

Re: How to tell audacity where ffmpeg 3.2.2 is installed.
I agree that it would be better to leverage arbitrary ffmpeg executables rather than be tied to specific (now oudated) versions of shared libraries (DLL files) but we don't really have the resources to make that change right now. One possibility might be to accept that using different FFmpeg version...
