Re: Scrolling (?) to the right or left
Shift + mouse wheel works even better (works more smoothly). The Mouse bindings are listed here (they are not configurable though): http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/mouse_preferences.html . I've updated all the pages I could find in the Manual where COMMAND + . wasn't given as the Mac shortcut ...

Re: No Playback on MacBook (loud click instead)
I have this same issue. It is solved bu uninstalling 2.0.4 or 2.0.5 and installing 2.0.3. This issue started since I upgraded the OSX last night. Even when I uninstall the app, I get the click. Something is incompatible with the latest Mac OSX and 2.0.5 (and 2.0.4) but is fine with 2.0.3. Did you u...

Re: Temp files exist, but will not load
Ok, attaching autosave files now... I don't think there is anything wrong with the autosave files that should stop the projects recovering. I copied the show log to a text file Then please attach it or post it somewhere, like http://www.mailbigfile.com/ and give us the web address to download it. I...

Files in auto save: New Project - 2014-05-22 15-49-06 N-1 New Project - 2014-05-22 15-49-07 N-2 New Project - 2014-05-22 15-49-09 N-3 New Project - 2014-05-22 15-49-11 N-4 Here is the confusing part: The temp files with the .au files are all still there. The fact the AU files are there won't help y...

Re: Can vst plugin path be custom set?
What I mean't by incremental scanning is this. Reaper doesn't scan plugins it has already recognised, therefore when a new vst/vsti is added it takes no time at all to add them into its 'database'. also the process is automatic at start up. Is this a viable future option for Audacity? Yes in one wa...

Re: Detect device
Somehow the AUX jack on the E-MU unit became listed separately in the Sound control box, and disabled. Was it possible that Win 7 had been listing Playback and Recording on the same page, as did XP? Then switched to the separate pages as now? This recognition of "Internal AUX jack" is not...

Re: Assertion error encoding WMA
Has changing the WMA Export Options to 24 kbps created this problem? Yes!!! You are right! I tried 32kbps and 64kbps WMA Export and the error had gone. I've tried 24 kbps WMA export in release and debug builds of our latest code, and don't receive that error. The error you note has been reported in...

Re: Длина фильтра для эквалайзера
Look in src/effects/Equalization.cpp. You will probably create nasty artefacts in the sound if you make the filter length higher.
