Re: Scripting Noise Removal
Moved from the (now closed) 1.3.x Mac board to the 2.0.x Mac board. Alexius, just to clarify, no - there are no keyboard shortcuts for effects - it's a common request. Do you want to add a vote for it? Sure. Keyboard shortcuts for effects are now available in the current version of Audacity . I thi...

Re: how to uninstall
Where is this "Devices" of which you speak? Open Finder. Double-click a DMG to mount it. Notice the DMG has appeared in the Finder Sidebar on the left, in a "Devices" section underneath "Favourites". Now right-click on the DMG in the list in the Finder window, and choo...

Re: Ubuntu 14.04 & Audacity
A patched audacity will be available shortly for 14.04 & 14.10. The 14.04 build will use libav9, the 14.10 possibly will be using libav10 (patches also allow the use of FFmpeg > 1.2 For 14.04 it will first show in -proposed, look for 2.0.5-1ubuntu3.2, the current one, 2.0.5-1ubuntu3.1, needed f...

Re: The end of the Phase Jump problem
what happened to "Edit Post"? Registered Users did not have permission to edit their posts in this specific "Audacity 2.x Feedback and Reviews" board. I think I have fixed it (and for all boards in "Feedback and Discussion Forum"). Please test. Yep, it works now (edite...

Re: Can not record from USB speakers Windows 8 Audacity 2.0.
Thanks for the suggestion but yes I have done that. When I do as you suggest I get the message - : "Error while opening sound device. Please check input setting and the project sample rate". Windows WASAPI should in theory be able to record from a USB playback device. Try 44100 Hz project...
