Re: Problem with the audio track when recording
Set the Transport Menu to Doublage (Overdub) "on" and Passage audio logiciel (Software Playthrough) "off". In the "Enregistrement" Preferences, set the "Audio vers tampon" to its default value of 100 ms. Your choice of 0 ms is the cause of not being able to re...

Re: Missing Audio Data
You will have to open Windows Explorer or your usual file manager. Open the folder "C:UsersSharon & JennyMusicCounting Spores Audio StuffCounting Spores Audio_data". Open the "e00" folder within that. You should see "d00" and "d01" folders. Find the AU fil...

Try the attached. It looked like the usual problem where the last line but one was corrupt so that has to be removed.

Re: "Apply to files" doesn't work
Did you add an Export command at the end of the Chain? See: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/edit_chains.html .

Re: Missing Audio Data
So I put the data folder and file in the same folder, but I still get the same results (window saying I have missing audio data). Later I read the below link, and it suggested that I find the missing files. Then i would have to put those files back in the correct folders. Should I do this? http://f...

Re: lame_enc.dll is missing
It seems you can use either the avcodec, avformat or avutil DLL file from FFmpeg to export MP3. You always used to be able to use "libmp3lame-0.dll" from FFmpeg when it wasn't bundled into the other DLL's. Presumably doing this poses no problem, because Audacity already checks that the DLL...

Re: Do I have full version of audacity?
Irrespective of where Delete is, the real answer is to use the current version of Audacity ( http://audacityteam.org/download/ ) then read the Audacity Manual. The Manual for the current release (whichever version is current) is here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/ . The Edit Menu page in the Man...

Re: Can't save projects
It would appear to be a permissions issue, but Help > Show Log... in Audacity would confirm if access was denied. Is there a default save location option? No, but the last used location is saved (at least for a time) in the Windows Registry and could be forced before launch of Audacity. See: http://...

Re: How to record with two microphones?
More information on possible solutions is at http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_recording_how_to_s.html#twomics . You might be able to open two instances of Audacity and record from one USB mic with each copy. (I've never tried that.) No that won't work. Although it is possible to open multipl...
