Re: Noise Removal Discovery?
Do you mean merely that the amount of visual reduction in the waveform is greater? This is expected, because Waveform (dB) is logarithmic . Quiet sounds take up more screen height than in Waveform view, so noise will have more of its pixel height removed in Waveform (dB) than in Waveform view. Pleas...

Re: Recorded tracks without waveforms
This same thing just happened to me, I have been using audacity for years and have never had this happen. I recorded a hour and a half long dj mix into a macbook running 10.4.11, using audacity version 2.0.3, at the end of the mix i saved the version as, and when i re-opened it all the audio is the...

Re: Recorded tracks without waveforms
That's all of the log. I've tried opening it multiple times, there's never been a message box warning of errors. I've not touched anything in any of the project or application folders…most software I've used doesn't tolerate it anyway. A frustrating situation, I must say. If you did not edit the re...

Re: Syba USB stereo adapter does not record
I'm using OS X 10.9.2, Audacity version 2.0.3, most likely from .dmg. The current version is 2.0.5: http://audacityteam.org/download/mac . I am trying to use the same adapter, for the same reasons, sort of. I have a 13 inch Macbook, and I'm trying to hook up a piezo vibration sensor by USB so I can...

Re: Exporting to MP3 does not include all tracks
Yes, tracks that have the Mute button down are not exported: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ex ... audio.html . Though I'm not sure if you had all but the intro track with the Mute button down why the length would be correct, unless you had silence padding after the intro.

Re: Missing right channel of stereo recording
I don't think so. It seems the Behringer USB output is faulty.jeffdv wrote:am I overlooking something in the setup and use of Audacity?

Re: Quality of the recorded sound
the option to reduce the volume of recording is inactive in the program. I need to go to the system mixer to change it and only there. Maybe that is the problem. That is probably not the cause of the problem, but the greying of the Audacity input slider is normal when you select pulse or its aliase...

Re: Exporting to MP3 does not include all tracks
Today's recording plays as desired as an .aup file. However, when I export it as an MP3 file, only the 8 second long intro track is played back. The file details show the correct length of the recording (just over 9 minutes and 20 seconds including the 8 second long intro and the same for the outro...
