Re: Help Request: 16/48 to cdr
I used VLC to analyze the original downloaded file: I tried running it on the one I thought I had converted to 44100, but it would not analyze it. You usually have to be playing the file for VLC to analyze it. I tried the MediaInfo link without the installer, but it seemed it DID want to install, s...

Re: Deleting DMG file from Trash
Open Finder. You should see the DMG in the left-hand pane under "Devices". Right-click or control-click over the DMG and eject it, then you can delete it from Trash.

Re: No speakers
I am trying to record sound coming out of the speakers on my monitor/t,v,it's connected with quite a substantial plug, with the screws on. You'll have to connect the speakers to an audio input on your computer then set Audacity to record from that input. See http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer_T...

However, I first need to figure out why when I set the intervals to 10 seconds, the resultant clips are a little ...

Re: Help Request: 16/48 to cdr
opened the downloaded files, one at a time as usual (seems no batch conversion offered as an option) You can use File > Import > Audio... rather than File > Open..., then multiple-select the files you want. The files will import in Audacity tracks one above the next. Then use File > Export Multiple...

Re: Temp files exist, but will not load
suppose it's possible that you don't have access to "C:UsersHanielAppDataLocalTempaudacity_temp" but Windows is not reporting it. I did ask if there was a lock symbol on that folder or on the project folders inside there, but I don't think you answered. ... I do have access, I am the only...

Re: ALAC info missing / confusing!
Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy. ALAC export works, but only if you export using (external program). I've updated both pages, please see those for more information. Please post to the Forum board for your operating system if asking questions about encoding and decoding files. Assuming you ar...
