Re: Trouble Opening Files

I'm using Windows 7, Audacity 2.1.2 I don't know whether I obtained the .exe installer or the zip I have saved projects in a folder and named them. When I select a file and click open, a subfolder name 'e00' opens, but I cannot reopen the project. : ( Open the AUP file you saved. You may see it lis...

Re: aup file and _data file not recognizing each other.

We recorded a song at one house on one laptop. Now I want to work on the song at a different house on a second laptop. I have the .aup file and the _data file and they both have the same name. But when I open the file to work on it, it says it can't find the _data file, or my tracks are there but t...

Re: Easy way to put Selection Toolbar info into export filen

I might suggest an improvement if it were possible, which is to run the code once after adding all the labels. That's not currently possible with Nyquist as label tracks are not readable for plug-ins. OK, I now see it on Nyquist Wish List . I asked because you provided a solution and then moved it ...

Re: Unable to save original .aup file

It's unknown why you can't save, but make sure the exported WAV files play correctly without gaps or other issues. If they do, then force quit of Audacity should recover the project as long as you don't reboot the computer. But is there anything in the project such as envelope points that is not in ...

Re: WIN 10 RECORDING PROBLEM

Problem is now solved by using Microsoft Direct Sound. My reading of the Manual suggested I should only use MME so I hadn't tried Direct Sound. MME is the oldest and most compatible of the hosts. The Manual does not suggest to only ever use MME. I think your problem may be different, which is that ...

That is how phpBB works too. Please see how to attach files to forum posts.

We can do that for you if you want. All new users have their posts moderated until they have proved they are trustworthy. This is to prevent abuse by spammers.
