Re: Audacity 2.0.5 on Ubuntu 14.04 w/KDE crashing
I've added - env PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 audacity - to the KDE launcher and it now works to play audio again. Couple of arising questions that might help other users, Could setting the pulse latency effect recording? or have any other knock on effects? Perhaps. Do you see underrun messages in Termina...

Re: Audacity 2.0.5 on Ubuntu 14.04 w/KDE crashing
I've had the same problem A solution that is said to work apart from using the (hw) devices is to open a terminal and launch Audacity by typing: env PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 audacity then hit ENTER on your keyboard. Try the same with Kaffeine. The bug is already reported on Ubuntu (in 13.10 too): http...

Re: can not make line in workon PC Laptop running Win 7 ????
My problem is for the first time the recording only picks up the mic in the laptop and is not transfering the audio into the computer vis the mic line in which I have done many times before with success. When I go into control panels on the PC and go to sound all I get is internal mic which I do no...

Yes, that's another feature request (if you want to make it) that there should be a choice at export time to include leading white space as silence.Tapehead wrote:I just found out that generating a small portion of silence from zero retains the white space before an instrument comes in.

Re: Audacity 2.0.5 and Linux Mint 17, I can't work
If the audio playback is still a problem, you could try increasing "Audio to buffer" in the Audacity "Recording Preferences". That setting affects playback too. Ok, you refer at latency? I don't know what language you use for Audacity but it is the first box from the top in Reco...

Isn't the idea that you are supposed to use the "EncryptStick™ Lite" software to decrypt the file (when you provide your password)?

Re: Force stop without loosing data
Exactly what version of Audacity do you have? If it is a version in the 1.3 or 2.0 series you can force quit Audacity and it should recover the audio. See: Recovery - Audacity Manual . The later the version of Audacity, the better the chance of recovering the audio. If you are using a 1.2 version of...

Re: comment fusionner plusieurs mp3?
Je ne parle pas français.
C'est une mauvaise idée de fusionner des fichiers MP3 dans Audacity. La qualité du fichier joint sera pire.
Utilisez l'un de ces qui peuvent rejoindre les fichiers MP3 sans perte de qualité:
