Audacity 2.0.6-alpha now has FXP preset support, so please test the plug-ins that gave you trouble. Use the build from the top of this list: http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-nightly/ . Hopefully the next 2.0.6 release (non-alpha) will have this FXP support too. FXB is not supported yet. Thanks Gale

I imported stereo track and split stereo track. I then hit the drop down and converted each side to mono in order to edit each side individually. No need to do that. Just choose "Split Stereo Track" in that menu. You can choose "Make Stereo Track" on the upper track after editin...

Change the USB cable.

Restart the computer.

Make sure Edit > Preferences: Recording has "Audio to Buffer" set to 100 milliseconds or higher.

Don't make the audio CD more than 74 minutes or the CD may not play.

If you choose View > Zoom Out a few times you can drag a greater time span. Click and drag in the blue waves.

Or use Selection Toolbar to select the region you want for the CD.

Then File > Export Selection... .
