Re: DMG install behaviour
Split from: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=251710#p251710 Just downloaded 2.0.6-alpha. Something I'ld like to bring to attention concerning using the .dmg method of install is I had an issue with dragging the Audacity folder onto the alias "Application" folder within the mo...

Re: Audacity 2.0.5 (.exe)can't open aup. file
I recorded about an hour's worth of voiceover with Audacity on a MAC in the studio I use. I edit at home on my Windows 7 PC. As I have done many times before with this project (an audiobook), I saved the day's work to a thumb drive as an Audacity project and also saved it to the desktop in the stud...

Re: I changed speed
It was a stereo data, then when I saved, it save as mono, and a lot of little parts, what can I do to just open the complete song and stereo. Open the AUP file which will piece the little parts together for you, then use the File > Export... command to save the file for use by other applications. S...

Re: AU plugins buggy in 2.0.5, not in 2.0.0, OS 10.6.8
Thanks for the report but this was fixed in our source code shortly after release of 2.0.5, so will be fixed in the next 2.0.6 release of Audacity which should appear fairly soon now. If you are not already doing so, you may subscribe here: http://audacityteam.org/#announce to receive an e-mail when...

Re: Marking key locations
Is there a way, in Audacity 2.0.5, of marking key locations of interest that will not disappear in the process of enlarging or reducing the current view? Something analogous using a grease marker on analog video or audio tape? You can use labels - see: Label Tracks - Audacity Manual . Labels exist ...

Re: Can't start recording
This seems to answer a question I wanted to ask. I have a Yeti microphone which is factory set to 48kh and the default Audacity setting is 44.1kh. I get all sorts of clicks and blips in the recording. I have only done one test with both set to the same sample rate which seemed to be OK. Is the prob...

Re: Audacity won't overwrite files, even when told to
I'm working with mp3 files in this case, and that's mostly what I work with since it's for my Zune player. I've never had this happen before and I only output mp3 files. I understand I'll have dupe files if I'm converting formats, but not when I'm opening an mp3 then exporting back to mp3. Then in ...

Re: Easiest way to reassemble wav files after export?
I think there should be consistency between "Export" and "Export Multiple". We could have (for both) a choice between: a) Export from start of audio. b) Export from start of track. Yes I think at least us two are agreed that would be good, and better than a preference to handle ...
