Re: can you view multiple tracks simultaneous
Veer.2.0.5. Windows XP PROBLEM: selected 10 wav tracks from unfinalized CD developed from recordings using a Tascam 2488neo recorder. The tracks are synchronized. I want to view all 10 tracks after editing, on screen. If you don't want to scroll up and down, try View > Fit Vertically. I want to mix...

Re: Right mouse button menus
Historical. Audacity was initially developed on OS X which was several years behind Windows in adopting right-click. Apple's mice were left-click only so the only way to right-click was to hold CTRL while clicking :o To people on Windows, the lack of right-click in Audacity is baffling and annoying ...

Re: import and edit files from itunes
I am having problems importing files from itunes. It does not recognize the file type. I tried to go to File>Create New Version>Create AIFF Version. It says it converted but I still can't import the file. I am trying to import 2 songs from iTunes and splice them together. This should not be a probl...

Re: Export multiple files
Can you provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to create a Cue Sheet? Or refer me to instructions somewhere? The Audacity manual doesn't help much. We don't have time to write out step by step instructions for you, but probably the easiest way would be to label each song then use one of t...

Re: Incompatibility Audacity 2.0.5 and Windows Live Movie Ma
Exit Movie Maker then shut down and restart the computer.
If you need to run Movie Maker and Audacity at the same time in future, try choosing "MME" host in Audacity's Device Toolbar. Set Audacity Project Rate (bottom left) to 44100 Hz.

Re: Recording Multiple devices
If you need to record everything to separate channels you may be able to use Kristal as that can record from different sound devices at once.

Re: recording multiple tracks
I am using windows 8 and the mic inside the computer. Yes I am using stereo mix on the sound panel instead of microphone, and yes I always listen through headphones. Stereo mix records sounds playing on the computer. If you choose stereo mix to record from, you will record the previous tracks if yo...

Re: Seemingly records more quietly than I speak on Skype.
Version: Audacity 2.0.5 Using: Windows 8 The issue that I'm having is that while my volume appears to be solid over Skype, while attempting to record my volume I am inaudibly quiet, unless I boost the volume up past .25, so on, but then a static noise seems to pervade through the recording, that is...
