Re: NoiseRemoval.cpp
working with Audacity (rather than testing) I must try that some time. :) Possibly (but not necessarily) related: When using Nyquist Workbench, Audacity sometimes becomes completely unresponsive to all keyboard shortcuts. The keyboard shortcuts can be reactivated by opening and closing Preferences....

Re: AUTORECOVERY did not work
Given the AUP file doesn't help it will be better to try to automatically recover the project if possible. What were the exact errors when you recovered the project? - There was no exact reason there was just a message saying something like "Autorecorvery could not be finished because there wa...

Re: Audacity group on Soundcloud
What is that group's policy about covers and remixes? "We" don't have or need a policy. Soundcloud already have policies in place. Soundcloud users agree to Soundcloud's terms and conditions by using their service. http://help.soundcloud.com/customer/portal/articles/1480502-can-i-upload-c...

Re: Tempo of the click-track
The same way you created the Click Track in the first place. Generate > Click Track... and look in the Tempo [beats per minute] box for the value you last entered.Svento wrote:That's what I hoped for, but how do I open the click-track?

Re: NoiseRemoval.cpp
Gale! I repeated your steps on Windows 7, debug build running in the debugger, and I DO see an undo problem! Intermittently, but not too rarely. I noticed the application sometimes gets in a state where Edit menu lists "Undo Noise Removal" but if I select the menu item, NOTHING HAPPENS, a...

Re: NoiseRemoval.cpp
I think I can explain the apparent fade-out at the end of track (and did you notice fade-in at the start too?). Yes, just a little fade in at the start. Edit > Undo, double click the pasted noise and Effect > Repeat 10 times for noise of 22 seconds. CTRL + A, then apply Noise Removal at the same se...

Re: NoiseRemoval.cpp
This is steps for Mac, with follow on steps for Windows at the end. I have not yet made the issue happen with simpler steps. Generate 2s white noise at 0.5 amplitude. Change to Waveform (dB) view Effect > Noise Removal and capture the Noise Profile. K Generate > Tone, 2s, 440 Hz, 0.99 amplitude. Vie...

Re: NoiseRemoval.cpp
I am eager to learn how that process goes... The formal process is along the lines of: 1) Log bug/enhancement on bugzilla. This should clearly define the issue. That usually implies that separate issues in the code should be separate bugs, but that interface issues could possibly be subsumed into o...

Re: NoiseRemoval.cpp
In this post http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=79650 and one other report I saw by e-mail, it's been claimed that changing view causes different levels of Noise Reduction to be applied. We have no details of that e-mail report It basically said the same thing, with a bit more d...
