Re: problem opening audacity
This is explained in "Install.txt" that should be in the same folder as the Audacity application. Please right-click or control-click over Audacity.app, choose "Open", then in the dialogue that appears, choose "Open".

Re: 2.0.6 - FFmpeg problems
I recently did a fresh install of version 2.0.6 and I can't get FFmpeg working. Audacity won't detect it. ...and yes, I'm using the latest FFmpeg version ( 2.2.2 ) I tried to locate it manually but it didn't change anything, as it still says "FFmpeg Library not found". Restarting the prog...

Re: Having Difficulty Initalizing to Record Internet
It's not a typing error. It's 5.1 with Service Pack 3, pre-WASPI. Another point, I did clean the drives and reloaded the OS between Freecorder and now. Would WASPI work with 5.1? I am using Audacity 1.3.12-beta (perhaps sorely outdated?). ...

Re: Corrupted titles of in/outs (2.0.6) on OS X w czech loca
Thanks for the report. Yes I can confirm that. I think this may have happened because for 2.0.6 the folders for translations were moved inside the Audacity bundle (Audacity.app is actually a folder on Mac OS X). That allowed some items in the Audacity menu bar to be translated into the system langua...

Re: Exporting frequency analysis
If you are on Windows 8, Screenshot Tools don't capture the title bar of separate windows such as Frequency Analysis or Contrast. If anyone wants the title bar, use ALT + PrtScr then paste the image into Paint and save.
