Re: Ctrl+# Shortcuts Do Not Work

Using 2.0.6 via .exe installer. Since upgrading to 2.0.6 Ctrl+NumberKey shortcuts do not work at all. The default Ctrl+1/2/3 zoom controls do not work and no Ctrl+Numberkey shortcut can be set in Preferences. Ctrl+Letters work fine. There is no reason for that, at least if you are using English inp...

Re: Copy-paste from one project to an other

Sorry, the compilation is too difficult for me... I'm juste a primary school teacher... :| But we are using now the svn ppa and we don't have the "no paste bug" any more with this version : Audacity 2.0.7-alpha-Oct 12 2014 :-) It was the worst problem... No-one except you has reported tha...

Re: Recording recovery fail

I believe I am using audacity 1.2 as the temporary file section of it is stated like that the recovery programme is 1.1. Also the amount of folders it is trying to recover is 262 so it is not at its limit. We no longer offer support for Audacity 1.2.<anything> - please see the pink panel at the top...

Re: adjudting sound levels for all .wav files

Does your software have license restrictions that go beyond (ie more restrictive than) the respective LGPL/GPL/MIT licenses or is your software under standard LGPL/GPL/MIT licenses? Nope. Then IMO you don't need extra words in the licence. It's already implicit in the licence that you retain all co...

Re: Record lossless

Why should I export it as wav? I play a file which sounds to me like its very clear and I just want to record it with audacity and export it. I will probably export it as ogg or mp3. However, the recording has some problems as mentioned above, first high pitched (now again btw.) and sometimes very ...

Re: USB Microphone Crackling Sound

It took me a weekend of messing about but I think I finally got it. It appears it's a conflict stemming from an application LCDHost, which is what I use to display system stats to my lcd display on my keyboard, simply closing that program removes any trace of electronic crackling, and starting it u...

Re: Importing Files

Export Multiple is even more convenient for that. You can export the files at one go.

Re: Preview button in Nyquist effects

If I add a Preview button to "Regular Interval Labels" on Windows, Preview plays the Preview selection then does nothing else. Yes that is what "appears" to happen. Nyquist does actually analyze the preview mix and returns the labels (specially formatted array of numbers and tex...

Re: Wha'd I do?

Yes - a new topic for a new problem is appreciated. "From within the programme, the result is the same whether I go to <file><Recent> or <File><Open>. (They're both shortcuts to the same file, I assume.) That is, the file is listed but trying to open it gives the "invalid or corrupt" ...

It seems then that this too should be verified by Steve then documented by Paul and put out to Audacity Wiki. Or does it need more development?
