Are you using an RCA to 3.5 mm cable like this https://mycablemart.com/store/images/pr ... _small.jpg and are you coming out of the Secondary Master Output or Booth Output of the mixer? I don't know much about this but Serato say that is what you should do.

Re: make hotkeys accessible to the background
To avoid getting annihilated by the enemy, you just need to plan in advance so that your Audacity record key that works in all apps isn't used in any of those apps.

Re: Input devices
Do I have to reset all the settings each time I click "New" for a new recording. Audacity keeps all its settings if you click "New" to open a new project window. If you want to record a new track or side in the same project window, you only need to click "Record". Gale

It's the system clock at the other end of the Windows Taskbar.keithp59 wrote:Somehow I don't see the system clock and thus unable to right click to check Recording Devices leading to a check on USB Audio codes.

Re: Auto Duck?
You can Edit > Undo a Mix and Render as you can undo any edit. Just to add; as with all "undo" operations, you can only undo in the reverse order. So, if you did actions: A -> B -> C then you can: Undo C -> Undo B -> Undo A but you cannot undo "A" without first undoing C and B. ...

Re: Stuttering sound on imported mp3's
What sound device exactly are you using for playback? What version of OS X? Yosemite is not supported.
Have you tried adjusting "Audio to buffer" in Audacity's Recording Preferences? That affects playback too.

Re: Is There A Keyboard Command For SideScrolling?
At present you have to use the SHIFT modifier when moving the finger/ball/wheel. This might be fixable if we are able to move Mac to wx3.0.2. See Mouse Preferences - Audacity Manual.

Re: Sound quality bad when ripping albums in to MP3s
I wish all our first time posters gave all that excellent detail - well done. :) The USB recording level of only 0.05 doesn't sound ideal. Do you need it as low as that to keep the recorded blue waves around +/-0.5 on the scale on the left? Also there is something not quite right if the slider for t...
