Re: Stuttering sound on imported mp3's
Gale - This is just playing through the Macbook Pro's (10.9.4) built-in output jack. I believe the buffer was set to 1ms, but I'm hearing this is from an externally generated mp3 that I am editing in Audacity - I assumed it is not a signal input through the buffers. Any recommendations for the buff...

Re: Auto Duck?
You can Edit > Undo a Mix and Render as you can undo any edit. Just to add; as with all "undo" operations, you can only undo in the reverse order. So, if you did actions: A -> B -> C then you can: Undo C -> Undo B -> Undo A but you cannot undo "A" without first undoing C and B. ...

Re: Display label count
I see no need for the font size for the label to affect the font size of the label info. Track info font size/colour (for all track types) or global font size/colour could be in the main preferences, if this is not made part of theming. If we want to get this feature accepted into a release (+1) the...

Re: Display label count
(but the vertical bar makes it look ugly Sure does :D I guess we'll eventually find a use for that area of the screen*, so I'd leave it clear for now. (*perhaps for calling up an enhanced label menu/editor. or how about scrolling the label track when there are a lot of labels stacked one above the ...

Re: editing noisy MP3 tracks
There are no squealing violins in that file. Everyone has different ideas of good EQ. We can't fix the file how you like it because we don't know what EQ you like. So I suggest you open Effect > Bass and Treble..., try reducing the treble, press Preview, and if that does not sound right, try another...

Re: Audacity Crash...Unsaved file...Can it be recovered?
When I finally maximized the audacity icon, the application froze and I was forced to close it and reopen it again. When it did that, it asked me to recover the file, and I said yes. Now I've tried saving it, and exporting it under different formats (wav, etc.) and I hear nothing, however the exact...

Sorry we can't help you unless you can co-operate with us by answering our questions. I'll ask again: Where are these 3000 files? Are they properly organise...

Re: Does not recognize wav files
I installed FFmpeg/LAME and still can't open any of my wav files with Audacity 2.0.5 LAME is only for exporting MP3. If you get a message that the file is not recognised, then please provide the MediaInfo output for the file or post a link to it. If you get no error message but the import is a flat...
