Re: stereo recording
I moved this to the Windows board, assuming you have Windows. No one who reads the Russian board will be able to understand you. Thanks for the acvice, but I, of course, check all the right squares, still the the result is: double track saying "stereo" with two absolutely identical phonogr...

Re: Audacity only part imports the audio file.
Yes, MediaInfo shows you it was an MP4 and not an MP3. Now you have FFmpeg you can import MP4 files into Audacity.

Re: "Show Clipping" Options
If that is not insane, :D I don't think that it's insane, but I think it is getting more complicated than necessary. I think that we all agree that ideally there should be no warning lines at all, that is, there should always be at least a little headroom, and Edgar has explicitly said that if the ...

Re: Connecting a MacBkPro to a BeachTek DXA-5D
Please be aware that Audacity does not officially support Yosemite yet. To have the best chance I would suggest you upgrade to Audacity 2.0.6 (http://audacityteam.org/download/mac).MillsOffice wrote:Audacity 2.0.3 on my '09 MacBook Pro (OSX Yeosimite).

Under the hardware tab ... Realtek HD audio shows up as installed and working properly, as are the mixer, and inputs etc However ... under voice tab, or audio tab, it is not shown. ... So it also doesn't show up as a device for audacity, or other audio software. It was working fine three weeks ago ...

Re: Creating 2 seconds on wma files
Has anyone tested this yet? Thanks for the report. There is no issue with FFmpeg 2.2.2 itself run at the command-line, outside of Audacity. The Audacity problem is only in how Audacity is writing the length into the file headers, not with the actual length of the file, which is correct. Perhaps due...

Re: Audacity Crashed and Now I Have 1,605 2 Second Clips!!!
I already tried restarting the system and opening Audacity. :( So what happened exactly when you restarted Audacity? Did you see the Automatic Crash Recovery dialogue, looking something like this? http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/m/images/c/c4/crashrecovery.png If Audacity froze after you chose to ...
