Re: geknetter in me opname
We cannot answer questions written in Dutch. Please tell us in English your version of Audacity and your version of OS X. Try changing "Audio to buffer" in Audacity 's Recording Preferences to some other setting. Experiment with higher or lower settings. Set Audacity to 96000 Hz project ra...

Re: 2.0 won't let me export to Mp3
I moved your new duplicate topic back here. Please be aware that Audacity does not explicitly support Avid interfaces. Those are mainly meant for working with ProTools. This isn't likely to be anything to do with your MP3 issue, though. I would guess your issue is that you are seeing this, correct? ...

Re: "Show Clipping" Options
I would propose a name change: "Label Clipped Samples" or, for brevity's sake: "Label Clipping". There is a minor problem with the shorter version in that "Label" could be interpreted as a noun. Why not just "Clipping..."? Currently, the other 2 elements are ...

Easy way to fix that. Linear scaling with dB labelling.kozikowski wrote:Can you even see -6 with the default meters?

Here's a new patch, it must be applied INSTEAD of the previous patch, it gives you 2 more things to play with: #define EXTRA_CLIP_INDICATOR_SPACE 4 #define EXTRA_MOMENTARY_INDICATOR_SPACE 4 #define EXTRA_PEAK_INDICATOR_SPACE 4 wider.png In the above image the red rectangle refers to EXTRA_CLIP_INDI...

Re: Low Volume when recording from vinyl
Hello, Last message. I see my last attempt to post didn't pass. Your recommendation worked with the Rotel RX-850a receiver but on only one channel. The other one distorts, way too high. I fiddled with your controls but the same. What outputs of the receiver are you connecting to and with what cable...

Re: All of a sudden no sound
You could try choosing MME host in Audacity.
Audacity does not officially support MBox because that is intended for ProTools. Avid usually require you to download special drivers if you use MBox with other software. Did you do that?

I am not keen to say a box is "cyan". When I have done that in the past I've been asked by users what I mean. The problem is there is often also a blue "Intro" box on Manual pages. That looks dark blue on some monitors and very light blue on other monitors (depending what angle y...

Re: How do you apply noise removal to the whole track /.
Could you please explain what you mean by "click above mute solo in the track" ? Where is this region on the page that you click. ? It is in the Track Control Panel to left of the blue waves: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/m/images/d/dd/trackpanelnew.png I expect you have not made separ...

Re: How to remove computer audio from voice audio recording
I agree with Koz it would be easiest to use your usual headphones. Do you normally record your voice without attaching an external microphone - is that what you are trying to do now? Where exactly you are connecting that headset to the computer? If it connects to the USB port, you could try setting ...
