Re: Plugins qui ne s'initialisent pas...
As you can write quite good English I suggest you write in English. It's very unlikely anyone would answer this question in French. Also we are only going to ask you the obvious question - are you booting into Linux or Mac when thus problem happens? If it's Mac, have a look at http://forum.audacityt...

Re: How should I start?
One tip I would suggest is don't use abbreviations. I assume "EDM" is "Electronic Dance Music" but if you write it out then there is no ambiguity. You still haven't said exactly what the "everything" is that you physically want to do. Are you using a mixer (make and mod...

Re: Audacity can't find realtek audio card
Well, that didn't work. Uninstalled the on-board audio "card" ... then rebooted. ... On rebooting it was automatically detected and reinstalled. No surprise there - if you re-read what I said at http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=258596#p258596 , I explicitly suggested that you...

Re: Error message when trying to use the microphone
I use a headset that has green and pink plugs. When I turn the volume up, nothings changes. I had already done the "show disabled devices" thing before, and it didn't change anything. Maybe it's because the headphones are very old (like 10 years)? Obviously we cannot see your computer. Ha...

Re: Pops and clicks in playback during editing
I'm sorry to say that, using the command line in the terminal, the problem still occurs, also when working on other projects on a different machine. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the project's length is 2 1/2 hours long? Are you still receiving underruns in the Terminal? If so you...

Re: Cant record microphone + computer speakers (help)
Audacity records from only one source at a time. If you are trying to record Skype, use http://www.pamela-systems.com/products/ , http://voipcallrecording.com/ or other tool meant for the job. If you are recording a commentary on a game, use FRAPS http://www.fraps.com/ . If you must use Audacity, y...

Re: Change audio pitch in MKV file
I haven't done anything like this before! I was just asking did ppl think it sounds feasible. We can tell you how to use Audacity. We don't make mkvmerge so we have no responsibility to tell you how to use that. ;) will this change the length of the audio file? Because if it does even slightly, I'm...

Re: Change audio pitch in MKV file
Hello there - I know this query incorporates some work not related to Audacity, but I thought experts on here should know whether this is possible or not. I bought a Blu-ray set which has pitch issues in the audio (it's too high - it's been pitch adjusted to offset PAL speedup, but it's a 24FPS fil...

Re: Assert in FFmpegLibs::InitLibs
Ed, are you saying this assert occurs even if FFmpeg is correctly installed (F,C,U numbers are visible in Libraries Preferences)?
