Re: Закрытие программы без подтверждения
I do think that it should be possible to close the project without the warning if the project has not been changed. However, that is not as simple as it might sound. It certainly isn't and would mean a lot of code changes for the use case of Audacity not as an audio editor but only as a player appl...

Re: distorted sound while recording, playback is fine
Definitely check you have 44100 Hz project rate bottom left of Audacity and not anything higher.
Connect directly to the USB port, not through a USB Hub attached to the port.

Re: Unable to record [SOLVED]
I carried out the instructions given on page 5 of "Mixer Toolbar Issues" under the heading "Recording Settings". Audacity is now working perfectly. Good. I will mark this [SOLVED] then and lock the topic. If the problem comes back, please check your audio drivers as suggested ab...

Re: Закрытие программы без подтверждения
When users delete their files after importing them, after having enabled your new option by mistake, they won't be calling Audacity a "decent" application. Gale OK ,but this does not make a point. If user enable this option by mistake they should not blame this program. If we go farther s...

Re: Recovering .au files after crash
I'll go ahead and Repair Permissions in Disk Utility as you have suggested. Did you do Verify Disk as well? The log changed when I reopened and now shows different errors. So you force quit? All that log shows of possible relevance is the "Error: Failed to get file system statistics (error 2: ...

Re: Shorter minimum attack and release times for Compressor
Within the current effect: I'm +1 for Attack Time to go down to 0.01 seconds, but -1 for going less than that. I'm +1 for Release Time to go down to 0.1 seconds, but -1 for going less than that. Seems reasonable. I've wondered myself why the minimum was set so high. Will that make the slider harder...

Re: Creating 2 seconds on wma files
On 2.6, with the new ffmeg, it was 1.58. Now when playing in through JetAudio, it's 1:56, yet on explorer, its 1:58, opening the file, the wave length runs to 1.58 Opening the file where? Are you talking about 1 minute, 58 seconds? If I export a 1 minute 56 seconds selection in Audacity 2.0.7-alpha...

Re: Unable to record
How can I be sure that it will continue to operate correctly? It might help if you confirmed what you are trying to record. I don't know what you mean by not being able to select Sound Mapper or Primary Sound Driver in Audacity Device Toolbar, but I suggest you go to the web site of your computer m...
