Re: Lost minutes of recording before saving
To cover all possibilities, I recommend you try a proper shut down as I suggested in http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=260867#p260867 . As Steve asked, where are you trying to save the project to? Please give us the complete path to the file. Where is the Audacity temporary folder? I sug...

Re: Unable to record from computer Windows 7
Inspite of the fact that I thought this problem solved,it is not. Set to wasap with the other settings as desribed in the tutorials, and with the output from the thing being recorded from (usually BBC R4 player)set to maximum, still the recording level is low and is not affected by the playback slide...

Re: Make quiet parts of audio louder
Have you tried lowering the threshold (move the slider to left)?
If that does not help, put a tick (checkmark) in the "Compress based on Peaks" box.

Re: open 1.3 .aup files in 2x?
1.3.x had a different installation path to 2.0.x, so installing 2.0.x does not overwrite 1.3.x. Uninstall 1.3.x. Download AudacityAssociationCleaner.reg.txt . Change the extension from "reg.txt" to "reg" by removing the ".txt" from the end of the file name, then run the...

Re: Barres d'outil Transport

Re: Lost minutes of recording before saving
Also, the path to the file (including not only the file name itself but the names of the folders the file is buried in) is limited to 256 characters. Sometimes Audacity hits AUP file saving issues when there are really none. Try Export as WAV instead. Clean reboot the computer to fix AUP file saving...

Re: Recovering .au files without a .aup file
I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Audacity 2.0.2 and I'm using the .exe installed version. This Windows installation is about 2 or 3 years old, so it's no surprise that I've been getting lots of blue screens. At first, I was getting a lot that were caused by my network card. After a driver update, ...

I think you mean 600 MB per hour. FLAC is about 300 MB per hour for stereo.kozikowski wrote:CD quality stereo runs about 300MB per hour.
