You're correct, it is not only named incorrectly, the file header is also incorrect. WAV is a container format so it is perfectly legitimate (if unusual) for it to contain MP3. It's the system file for Linux and not the one for Windows. This does probably also apply to the Mac. However, I don't know where this replacement should happen during the build.
