Re: Sound is distorted when recording (w/ Logitech C270 webc
I know how to get to the control panel and how to access to the audio settings. The problem is that I don't have any tabs about enhanchements, thus I can't find any Noise Suppression option to disable. I've googled everything but I couldn't come up with a solution. Have you tried my further suggest...

Re: Merging multiple files
It is possible to make a playlist, but i will end up having a mix of audiobook files and music when i listen to regular music. Why, if you put the audiobook MP3 files in their own playlist folder? I tried to do this, but i felt like the funktion didn't do anything. What exactly happened? Did you se...

Re: Cant Import Files
Opening the first AUP file in a plain text editor, near the top of the file: <project xmlns="http://audacityteam.org/xml/" projname="The Number Of The Beast 1_data" The name of that first AUP file would originally have been called: "The Number Of The Beast 1.aup" and t...

Re: DTS to wav/flac stereo conversion
You can't have had 2.0.6 for many years as it was only released a few months ago. The question in the pink panel is about how you obtained your current version of Audacity. I assume that the file imported as six mono tracks (look on each track to left of the waveforms). The correct channel mapping f...

Re: compiling ExportFFmpeg.cpp returns data-type error
Given you are reporting somewhat obscure errors, could you confirm your distribution, your exact configure command, your version of FFmpeg and version of wxGTK.RandomTroll wrote:--disable-dynamic-loading made no difference.
--without-ffmpeg allowed compiling; that audacity works.

Re: Merging multiple files
Audacity "can" import files such that if the files are named earliest first, you can use Tracks > Align Tracks > Align End to End to join them into one track in correct order. That is the theory, but you need the computer resources to do it, including up to 75 GB of disk space to allow Aud...

Also plug the web cam into an empty USB port, not into a USB hub.

Re: download
Only download Audacity from the links on http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . The links will take you to either FossHub or SourceForge. When you get there, do not click on advertisements that look like download buttons because those buttons are not Audacity. Just wait for the Audacity download...
