I found a solution. You have to purchase a seperate audio card and put it in the Express Card 54mm Slot. Then change default cards to the new one.

I called Dell and thats what they told me to do.

I have the exact same problem. I am using a Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop. This is a brand new computer with the latest updates. Is there a way to get around this issue? Maybe download other software?
