I have installed ver 1.3.4beta and have in the same folder the Manual manual-1.2 folder which was the version available at that time. Audacity is not 'seeing' this folder so where should I place it or configure it, so the the program help button can read it comprehensively?
Any help most appreciated.

I have downloaded the help files and unzipped the 'manual' into the Main Audacity folder. Audacity cannot find them. What is the correct location to store these the 'Manual' folder or files?
