Re: Staying in rhythm when creating loops, editing
Hi Steve, thanks for your reply. Yes, please add me to the request list. Curious that only you (with your plug-in), I and 12 other people seem to feel the need for this funcionality. I really look forward to trying out your plug-in. Also, it would be a great help if the resolution of the time axis c...

Staying in rhythm when creating loops, editing
Hi, I am a musician and use Audacity a lot, often to cut pieces out of music I like to listen to and loop them. To this end it would be very helpful if there was some way of seeing where the beats are. As it is I have to make an approximate cut, copy-and-paste the cut, listen to the result, cut agai...

Re: How to increase volume/improve signal-to-noise ratio?
Thank you Koz for your very comprehensive, informed, well formulated and detailed answer. Not only do you know *exactly* what you are talking about, your answer reads like a piece of well-written technical prose. You say: This is not a volume tool. It's an arithmetic tool. If the one loudest peak in...

How to increase volume/improve signal-to-noise ratio?
Hi, once in a while when I...eh...aquire an mp3 it is very low in volume and subsequently has a poor signal to noise ratio (see example jpg). Is there any way to remedy this? Re: Cannot remove click
Thank you steve, I will try it tomorrow (beddie-bye time here). It looks real easy in your pics, but wait 'till
I get my sweaty little hands on it.
Can I continue to post here in, say, 10 hours or so?

Re: Cannot remove click
Or you can smooth a disjunctuion like the one that Steve illustrates by selecting samples either side of the fault and using Effect > Repair Repair will fix up to 128 samples based on interpolation from neighbouring samples. WC Yes, thanks for the suggestions. I just took a screen-shot showing the ...

Cannot remove click
Hi, I get 'thick', loud clicks when I cut a section to make the clip shorter which don't go away if I use Effects/Remove clicks.
Why is this? How should it be done?
Thank you.

The echo effect
Hello, I can't get the echo effect to work. I'm obviously doing something wrong, but what?
The attached screen dump tells it all.
I'd be thankful for any help;
