This is correct, I changed that long ago because I thought that is similar to the behavior in other software. There, multiple sessions don't come in windows but in tabs or several internal windows in the main window. In those apps closing the last project (=internal window) normally just blanks the ...

Sorry, for not being specific enough.
I am using the version 1.3.12-beta Unicode on Windows 7 x64. I found the same issue with 1.3.11 on my Win7 system and on (all?) other 1.3.x versions on my old WinXP system.
