Hi Kos - I couldn't change my recording to quick time player as it wasn't a quick time movie. the piano 2 wav file I saved in quick time and imported it into audacity and it played perfectly. I still feel the set up for importing my lp into audacity is missing something, but I don't know what.... mi...

I have Mac OS X 10.5.8 and have downloaded Audacity 1.3.11. I am recording my old lps from an Ion TTUSB10 player. I have checked all the issues and set the preferences and the waveform looks ok but when I try to play back the recording it runs at breakneck speed. I can't change this and exporting it...
