Hi everyone, audacity 1.3.7 is crashing the second I try to load it on my intel macbook, os x 10.4.11. Has anyone else seen this? I can't even get into the app, it just crashes, and I'm only running regular built in audio out. Brian, Have you used a previous version of Audacity before this attempt?...

I remember. I trashed my preferences and in fact the whole Application Support > Audacity folder and Audacity 1.3.7 still figured out that I use 48000 and English. Where are the preferences now? I've been working with a user via email on this very problem, but I couldn't find an example where it would hang for me. But, since y'all mentioned the CD tracks, I gave it a try and it hung just fine for me.

I'll start tracking it down...

Would it be possible for me to get copy of your working code...whether it's complete or not? I'm in the process of upgrading to the latest version of Nyquist and have have tremendous memory and cpu savings. The original clip fix doesn't benefit though.
