Re: Ogg and quicktime files are always imported as 16bit
I've set the default sample format to 32 bit float in preferences (that's the standard). Now mp3, 16 bit wav files and 16 bit flac are imported to 32 float tracks. I think that is the way it should be. Ogg files, however, and files that are imported through Quicktime (m4a, mp4, or mov) always appea...

Re: Required software extensions are missing
I get the same dialogue on XP as the above image with the latest Nightly build if I change the system clock to make it appear the licence has expired. If I move the dll to Vista where the computer has never been "authorised" by Blue Tube, I get three various errors (but not the above) in the latest...

Re: Required software extensions are missing
Hi, I'm using the latest daily build (Audacity 1.3.9-alpha) on Mac OS 10.4.11. When opening the application, this error occurs: http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/1695/errordnv.jpg "Required software extensions are missing" It then directs me to the Pace Anti-piracy site. Should this be happening? ...

Everyone with crashing Audacity at startup

Trying to fix it. It would help greatly if you could try out one of the latest test builds from here:unclex wrote: Fix it or kill it. Please.

Re: Weird spectrogram in Audacity 1.3.7 on Jaunty AMD64
I've just tried it with a clean install of Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit and do not have the problem. All updates were applied and only packages from the default repositories were installed. For the folks having the problem... Do you have any special video drivers installed? Have you installed any non-Ubuntu b...

Re: MP3 Export Crash
For those that are having problems loading the 3.98.2 version of the lame library, could you tell me what operating system your running? I don't suspect that has anything to do with it, but I'd like to test on a clean install of the same one where the issue is occurring. So far, I've run testing usi...

Re: "file not well formed in line 6" error?
This should be fixed. If you want to try it, wait for the next nightly build found here: http://audacity.homerow.net/index.php?dir=mac%2F I should clarify this a bit. The writing of non-printable characters and/or Unicode characters to the .aup should now be corrected. I do not know how the control...
