should clarify... I want to listen on my mp3 player... don't want to sit at the computer to listen to the .mov file

I don't need to edit... just want to LISTEN to the audio from a .MOV file... thanks I will try avidemux since it doesn't appear Audacity can do this easily.

Sorry, I don't have a MAC, or the Quick Time Pro Version. And how would I convert a mov to wav?

Can someone please advise best free software for PC to convert mov to mp3 if Audacity is unable to do this?
