Or write a suggestion to map stereo inputs to either channel, or both (a software mono switch) in 1.3 since USB can't handle it!
Or a suggestion to put the Vista/Windows 7 file open dialog box back!

The stereo/mono switch strictly controls the monitoring, not the USB output. I do have the microphone (Shure SM7B) into a xenyx802 preamp to get some extra gain, so essentially it's a line output from the 802 to the fast track, which handles either mic or line inputs. Bridging Fast Track Pro stereo output to mono
I would like to bridge a mic only output from fast track pro into audacity. As it stands now, I can only get it to record on the left channel or right channel, depending on where the mic is, if i select stereo recording. thanks.
