Re: Copy and pasting clips

Figured it out - I was using Select All on the source file, which doesn't work for this purpose for some reason - you have to select a portion of the text with your cursor.

Copy and pasting clips

Hi,

I'm trying to copy and paste a clip from one Audacity project to another. However when I paste the clip to the new project, instead of getting the audio, I just get an identically-sized block of silence.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,
Patrick

Re: Most stable version of 1.3 on Snow Leopard?

Just recorded a whole mix with 1.3.11 without incident - thumbs up!

Re: Most stable version of 1.3 on Snow Leopard?

Fair enough. Let me try to re-create the problem and I'll log exactly what happens.

I've just upgraded to 1.3.11 so we'll see how that goes!

Most stable version of 1.3 on Snow Leopard?

I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it on a search or in the FAQ. What is the most stable version of Audacity 1.3 on Snow Leopard? I'm running OS X 10.6.2, and Audacity 1.3.7.1, and Audacity keeps quitting on me after I get maybe 5-10 minutes of recording done. Should I go...
