New Vinyl Getting Skips
Hi - I've got new vinyl and am getting some skips now and then. At first I thought it was the vinyl. But I took one of the records that was skipping to the local vinyl store. They have a turntable you can try some of the records out on. I asked them if I could test my new vinyl on their turntable. I...

Re: Compressing WAV files?
Ok Well, How do you connet the external hard drive in my truck? It doesn't have usb. This sounds interesting. It doesn't require so many cd's. My collection is big. Prosser. Ok. Well, I don't want to use MP3's. I don't like their sound. So I guess I'll just have to accept 700 megs a cd. I'm recordin...

Prosser You are warned that home-burned Music CDs have about the same life expectancy as color photographs. They use a similar dye formulation. Re: Losing One Key Instrument in Recording
Thanks a million PO'L. As far as the bass, treble, and mid frequencies go, I do know what I like. So I'll play with the function. You guys do a great job on this forum. prosser99 By the "Analyze" function I assume you mean the "Plot Spectrum" function, since that is the only one in the Analyze menu ...

Re: Losing One Key Instrument in Recording
What about the Analyze function? I read the manual on it and it really didn't give me a clue about how I could benefit from it. Thanks for your time, Prosser99

And software without good support isn't worth much. Prosser99 What are the ranges for mid range exactly? There isn't an "exact" answer. The middle of...
