FYI. After seeing the comments about the .cfg file, I tried removing the file and then restarting Audacity. Voila! Audacity recreates the .cfg file and everything works normally.

How could I use Audacity to change the db level of multiple .mp3 files to a consistent maximum? i.e. all to 89db. This would involve lowering some and increasing others.
