Re: Data files switch from *.au to *.auf and go silent
i am not the expert and cant find this in any of the docs but an old msg said: (a) .......may have problems is that he has .auf summary files, which are not complete audio data. These probably indicate that the projects depended on audio files imported into the project , which will be on the other c...

Re: Windows 7 specifc internal audio capturing?
it seems to run standalone just fine. why bother integrating it into audacity? record with it first and then edit with audacity or buy their editor which may integrate with their tracker. not sure how it works without a sound card. that would appear to be magic to do a/d/a stuff in software. digital...

Re: Listen when recording

indeed more info is helpful. i infer he wants to play his speakers while he is recording and turns down the input gain to keep them from playing too loudly.

Re: Rendering Volume question.
I am currently using version 1.2.6. for a small side project. My questions is about the output volume (or playback volume) when rendering a project to a wav format. Does that volume (what ever level it may be set at) effect the volume of the rendered file? Or does it not effect it at all. Thanks. -...

Re: The audio sounds like crud
I guess what I am sorta looking for is an equalizer of sorts to adjust the quality of the sound.... v 1.3 of audacity has such a filter i am told. try that before buying a preamp. see if that really is the problem. but if you can fix it well enough with audacity then skip the preamp. you can get a ...
