Re: Help getting that effected "cool radio guy voice".
the effect is the total combination of all the factors his voice, the way he changes it, the microphone, the fx added whether eq or reverb or shifting, the room, the equipment, etc yada yada. there will be no one single magic answer that says do (only) this and you will get that sound maybe someone ...

Re: Help getting that effected "cool radio guy voice".
i think there is a slight amount of reverb/thickening but most of it is the way he is talking he is modifying his voice himself and enunciating very clearly talking a little bit higher in the throat and perhaps adding some bass eq / or freq shifting lower i have never heard a voice like this on comm...

Re: Duplicating files on hard drive to a memory stick
1
drag and drop files to the memory stick
it should look like a disk drive
2
export as a wav or mp3
they can play it without audacity
3
wtf is express scribe
find out what type of file it uses
then export that file andor use a format converter program to achieve the file type you need

Re: DBX 120x for your voice
great idea
sort of like an exciter in the other direction
even if 3 of those freqs are not true subharmonics
which makes me wonder why they didnt use all true subharmonics
(60 30 20 15 and the 40 you noted)
they must have had a reason to offset them
easier hardware design?

Re: My system isn't recording loud enough, please help!!
and you can always make it louder after you record by using amplify or normalise then compress it so much your ears will bleed if you play it back at max volume
just recordign low is irrelevant if your snr is good enough so you cant hear the noise

Re: Poor audio quality after transfer
check all the tabs under realtek
there are more things that it can default to
like sewerpipe echo effect or
the eq can be way off by default

Re: Excessive Static with the Use of USB PhonoPlus V.2
yes 45 db is what you have and that is what you will get so make a copy to enjoy it the point is that the rest of the system is so much better it will not matter when you copy the records and cassettes trying to get even better snr from it does not help when the source is much worse to start with so...

Re: Poor audio quality after transfer

Re: Help getting that effected "cool radio guy voice".
dont know what a thick wide voice is
nor what slightly phased means
perhaps you could record the voice off the radio
and then post it for us to hear
