I wonder if the noise sarah hears is really fan noise being captured by the mic... From what I could understand it's probably a cheap headset,... perhaps sarah would confuse them but i doubt it i think that most of us can tell the difference in the noise when you play it back but perhaps she has bo...

you would have to work hard to make a burner that doesnt beat nero in every respect. those guys may be good hackers, but they dont know how to design a program that is easy to use without problems.

is there anyway to set the system to limit posts/day for brand new registrants? that could stop the pages and pages of spam that appear the same day somebody signs up.

dell doesnt want you using stereo mix, it would seem.

you are now a renegade in their eyes :lol:

so record with freestyle or whatever and edit with audacity
if you get more function that way

now you have to hope that win7 biz settings dont mess up your recordings

but not all pcs and soundcards actually have a working stereomix option

not necessarily
only one shown to work with audacity so far
there may be others

lots of other interfaces and software that will work for multitrack
and most external interfaces come with free software to do that

the exact same pc , win7, yada did anything else change other than switching to avast ? are you sure you really removed *all* of it ? did you do a restore to a known good point after you did all this or are you hoping they didnt diddle your registry and other settings? this kind of AV related softwa...
