there are 5 helpful links at the bottom which are easy to miss changing the links at the top makes it more obvious that they are links to helpful places why not put *all* the links at the top and the bottom at least some people will use them and avoid some needless repetitive questions +1 for the su...

too bad radio shack doesnt sell that cheap pzm anymore

reflections could be a concern except that this is a diy rollyourown
homebrew podcast not a professional production
i would worry more about the performers timing and voice changes
cell phones, HVAC, refrigerator, kids yelling, yada yada

i did read the post my point was that most cassette quality is pretty low even/especially commercial ones certainly lower already than cd quality and home made spoken audio is usually worse so the expense of buying a deck with dolby etc may not be worth the expense. i am sure teh OP knows his budget...

I would go with the zooomH2 at that budget 4 mikes is good to record around a table if the room is quiet you can get a decent recording especially if you use a card table instead of a big dining room table I would think if you want the beeb to pick it up you would need broadcast quality not podcast ...

i would suggest you explicitly add wiki to the top of the pages and to make it blatantly clear that tips tutorials and documentation are clickable resources and not decoration/verbiage in the header perhaps also add a *single* landing page that lists topics/problems and gives links (perhaps in a tab...

probably yes with the cheap usb headsets
the pro quality ones used by churches and rock singers

I have about 1,500 cassette tapes from the 1970's and 1980's. They are talks that we want to preserve for posterity. Is a program like Audacity sufficient for capturing all the data?
