best presentation is *fast* -- faster than the usual slooow boring one without all the er umms anduhs etc heard that at a conference once and woke right up listened to the whole presentation intently all the others were way too slow and just couldnt speak well at all had nothing to do with the voice...

you could try reversing the plug on the akai in the wall outlet going to 3w+g may help or not could be bad electrolytics in the powersupply of the akai letting hum get into the preamps if you play it through your stereo system do you hear hum do you hear hum if you are connected and not playing powe...

since you will do most of the programming and audacity or whatever will do little more than i/0 for you (record the voice sound, playback your wav after processing) with perhaps some *batch* not realtime f/x you could use audacity but probably need a lot more f/x than audacity has if you want realti...

you might be able to do it with audacity and enough programming but a program that worked directly with synthesis might be easier is this practical --- [sure - see it all the time on every spy show maybe csi miami too - easier than the magic they use every monday] --- for the cia or kgb suggest you ...

worked at a company with a room that had tall triangular shaped foam on every wall and the ceiling walk in their and you would think something had vacuumed your head out you couldnt even hear yourself think i barely lasted a minute dont know how whoever used that room could stand it (this was before...

It's those "yaddas" that kill you....We have shot movies like that and the whole crew goes home tense and soaking wet from the effort of shooting actors who themselves have no idea what they're going to do minute to minute. It's not fun. Koz hmmm..... blair witch no script improv based on directors...
