Re: Vinyl Recording Problem with Channel Axis?

realtek is software

the card was bad in my pc
may be bad in yours too
looks like a hardware problem

Re: Determining dBFS levels in selection

some sort of average or rms would be a good guide to how much compression is needed / desirable

the amplify tells us already how much gain we can apply

make this the second vote for an rms feature
maybe just add it as info to the amplify/normalis/and compress that exist

Eventually the 1.3 (or later) version of Audacity will be able to support recording at greater bit depths, but not yet....
BUT only if the hardware supports it ???
or will it just pad out the 16bits with zeros or ones to make 24/32???

Re: Can't Get Analog Factory to Record

give me another clue
no idea what that factory is
how does that relate to audacity ??

you might do better contacting the vendor/maker
checking out an analog factory forum
or try the many general audio forums that cover everything

Re: Digital "jukebox" to feed the analog stereo?

Guys, you misread me. ... ... I'm looking for something like a 500GB iPod, or a "player" that can use an external drive. A very small and dumb computer, that can just manage the job of imitating a jukebox, in the smallest possible footprint with the least power consumption. ... no we didnt you now ...
