they *are* available but most of the cassette gear does not have dolby or a lot of other features these days i still have my outboard dolby boxes should i care enough to use them i am not a golden eared stereophile type that thinks something that sounds different means it sounds better i listen for ...

dunno about ringtones or software for your cell but in audacity take a wav file and apply the amplify function make it as loud as possible then compress it and it will sound even louder export the wav file then if you can make a ringtone that will be the best you can do after that its up to your cel...
