Re: Disk Space Usage?

Sorry I thought this was on the Mac forum, my bad. Doesn't matter much anyways. What I meant by mp3 size was the typical file size (in megabytes). For example a 3 min mp3 at 128kbps birate should be about 3MB (megabytes) in size. The best way to check the free space on hard disk is from windows expl...

Re: Disk Space Usage?

I'm not sure what you're trying to fix here... You haven't said yet which Audacity version you are using... Is it 1.2.6? 1.3.12? It would help to know. Which OS-X version do you have? What is the size of the exported mp3s? Is the difference in free space after quitting audacity much bigger than the ...

Re: Still getting static, Mac OS 10.4.11

I think he said earlier that he's not using an usb hub. I've put the oscilloscope probe on the usb's +5V of my macbookpro and the oscilloscope screen showed what seemed to be more like a cloud than a wave. The amount of high frequency noise going there is mesmerizing. My Art Dual Pre seems to filter...

Re: custom made deadcat for large diaphragm mic

Drifting back again; blowing on it is probably not a very good test. The wind effect that comprehensively destroys a show is the low end roar of wind hitting the diaphragm. Even a very thin material (such as ladies stockings) should significantly reduce that effect, much in the way that a vocal pop...

Re: Free voip recording for Windows - MP3 Skype Recorder v.1

How do I set up VOIP for a call center? I would like to set up a VOIP call center. We have our own CRM and I am familiar with Vonage. Vonage is too small for our needs. Can vonage integrate to a PBX? Does anyone know a low cost solution, scalable and easy to install. Asterisk? It's free software an...

Thank you for your suggestions. 2. Allow sigs, but mandate that they are monochrome, fixed text, and contain only your systems' specs and/or a single line of non-commercial, non-offensive single line. The former would also would assist debuggers; the latter, well... :) Sigs were allowed until recent...
