Re: no sound when exporting to mp3

What would I like to see project specifically? For example all export options that I used when exporting the project specific .aup file. Default (saved) export options are the last ones used. For example, if you export a project as 256kbps cbr mp3, the next time you export another project that's th...

Re: no sound during playback

Do you have sound in other programs? You've probably selected the wrong playback device in Preferences -> Devices -> Playback Start by trying "default", if you have that option available. Do you have pulseaudio or jack running on your system? 1.3.4 is a bit old... Doesn't your distribution...

Re: Audacity randomly stops recording after a few seconds

None of the suggestions I tried worked and while getting increasingly fed-up, I decided to randomly try altering various settings and finally found one that worked! Edit-Preferences-Devices. Here I changed the recording device from "default" to:Intel ICH6: Intel ICH6 (hw:0,0) and since th...

Re: Audacity exports empty wav/mp3/etc

I can't reproduce this on MacOS-X. Only happens on Linux.

Gale, Steve, can you please try and see if you can reproduce this too on Linux?

Re: Audacity exports empty wav/mp3/etc

Ok I've downloaded it and analysed it. At first it seems fine, but I could hear some spiky noise close to 1 min length. then I exported it as WAV and imported back to audacity. All was fine up to 1 min length then it goes flat... but not typical flat at 0... it goes flat at -1.0. Then after this, an...
