Re: Building on OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard
On the wiki page we can read: Prerequisites You will need pkgconfig installed. By default this is not on your mac, but if you use fink or macports you may already have it in /sw/bin or /opt/bin. If you don't have it, you'll need to install fink. Then you can get it using fink with the command sudo a...

Re: Lost keyboard focus after import (Ubuntu) [patch]
What does "#if defined( __WXGTK__ )" do? It will only compile the code between '#if' and '#endif', if '__WXGTK__' is defined (somewhere else before in the code). For example: #define HELLO #if defined(HELLO) printf("Hello!"); #endif This will compile the printf code and "He...

Re: Audiocassette decks--which model should I use?
I don't have a Mac, but I'm covered on the digital conversion front. I get excellent results on my PC with my Xitel INport hardware That should do it :) If you have successfully used it with audacity, feel free to take a few minutes of your time and add your review on xintel inport here: http://for...

Re: Flipping stereo channels?
Generally I mix down the project before I export - this gives a much better idea of what the exported file will be like. Re: Using Audacity with the Grace Tape2USB - Background Noi
Are you sure you're recording from the usb device and not the laptop's built-in mic? Check audacity preferences -> devices -> recording.
You should connect the usb interface before opening audacity.
